Collision Improvements

May 17th, 2011

Sick of getting snagged on the ceiling when you play this arcade game? You're not the only one--but, fortunately, you don't have to worry anymore!

Noel and I have been slaving around the clock to bring you more game updates, including two brand new birds (and, no, these aren't angry birds). These Birds (code name Hiro and Gizmo) are going to be more ground-based and, hence, rely on better in-game collision detection. Fortunately, I just discovered a way to make this happen, and the latest version of Bird Brawl boasts substantial improvements to the way you can interact with the level!

But, its not just stopping there. This brand new collision detection (now only evident in the birds themselves) is soon going to be used for the projectiles, robots, and virtually everything else in the game. This should not only have substantial improvements in the quality of game play, but will also increase the speed of the game, overall, for those of you users on slower computers.
